Safety First & Success stories: Our medical and safety practices are second to none. All our trekking group leaders and guides have undertaken the Wilderness First Aid Medical Course and years of experience have taught them to deal with any adverse situations from diarrhea to Acute Mountain Sickness. We carry Portable Altitude Chamber / Gamow gab (hyperbaric bag) or Oxygen along with a comprehensive medical kit. We plan adventure trips where safety is not compromised. This translates into a 100 % success rate for the summit of Mt. Everest. We have an 85% success rate for Island and Mera peak and every trekker has completed the whole trip safely with a great sense of achievement. Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) has awarded Mountain Monarch with a TOP 9 company in 2013 & 2014 out of more than 1400 registered trekking companies in Nepal.
Responsible trekking policy: – 01 Trekker: 01 Porter Mountain Monarch is proud to announce that we are one of a few trekking companies implementing a ONE TREKKER: ONE PORTER strategy on our entire trekking and climbing trips above 4000 meters. The personal porter is more like having your own personal Sherpa hiking next to you. He carries a much lighter weight, around 15 kg. Our ethical way of dealing with porters enables them to have a longer working life thus helping to support themselves and their families. Trekkers will benefit too, as they will have direct interaction with the porters who will be happy to share first-hand information about their culture and lifestyle and some will probably become valued friends.

We provide properly boiled drinking water in our trips to discourage the use of plastic mineral water so no liter is left on the mountains. We have set up solar energy at Island peak base camp as well.
Your Financial Security: Mountain Monarch is a reputable adventure travel operator, registered and licensed within Nepal being an active Member of Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN), NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association), NTB (Nepal Tourism Board), KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Educational Project), NCA (Nepal Canyoning Association) etc. Our office in Australia is registered with ATAS and AFTA ensuring you are protected under Australian Consumer Law.
Small Groups Adventure with fixed departure dates: We believe in organizing small groups to deliver the best quality service, so when you join Mountain Monarch trekking or climbing trips, you travel with a maximum of 10 fellow travelers. This is small enough to avoid making a negative impact on the places we explore but large enough to have a good time with other travelers from around the world.
